Tornado Alley is typically defined as Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri, though it really has no 'true' area. Some given alleys include western Colorado and southern South Dakota.

Of these, Oklahoma has the highest tornado rate (as well as the more violent), though Florida has a higher tornato-per-land rate. On that note, there's a second tornado alley in the Southern US (Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, etc), though really, the entire Eastern US has a higher tornado count than the Western US...

And thus, the Tornado Rangers : D
